Hanukkah Dreidel Papercraft

Dreidel Papercraft
The dreidel is a 4-sided toy marked with Hebrew letters on each of its sides and is used like a spinning top in a game of chance played by kids during the Jewish holiday of Hanukkahhanukkah.

The game involves spinning the dreidel and betting on which Hebrew letter will be showing when the dreidel stops spinning, bets usually consist of a pot of gelt (chocolate coins covered in gold colored tin foil), nuts, and candies.

These are what the Hebrew symbols mean:

  1. its not what it means!
    this is the real meaning:

    נ - נס - N - Nes - Miracle
    ג - גדול - G - Gadol - Great
    ה - היה - H - Haya - Was
    פ - פה - P - Po - Here
A great miracle was (actually happened) here.

  2. Only in Jerusalem do the Dreidels say "A great miracle happened here". Everywhere else the dreidels have the Hebrew letters.
